Network Leasing Corporation Limited (NLC) is a private sector company, incorporated in Pakistan.
  • It is regulated as a lease financing institution, by the Securities & Exchange Commission and the State Bank of Pakistan (the Central Bank).
  • Its sponsors include professional persons and financial institutions.
  • Its financial accounting year is from 01 July to 30 June.
  • Its first Annual Report, for the period ended 30 June 1995, was published in October 1995, showing an annualized pre-tax net profit of 6.7% on equity, for the first six months' operation.  The present profit is approximately 10% on equity.
  • NLC's present programme partners are:
    •         SDC (the Government of Switzerland),
    •         The World Bank,
    •         The Asian Development Bank
  • It is a member of the Council of Practitioners of the Microcredit Summit Campaign Secretariat, Washington DC.  The campaign is endeavoring to reach 100 million of the world's poorest people in order to provide them with sustainable financial services.
  • It has been independently evaluated and recorded for its microfinance operations by the World Bank, SDC (the Government of Switzerland), the Economic Institute, Boulder, Colorado and the United Nations Development Program.
  • It is the private sector representative in the Donors' Coordination Group for the promotion and development of micro and small enterprises in Pakistan.  The Group is presently chaired jointly by SDC and ILO.
